What the index is

It's a record of what we could verify about bookkeeping firms, from sources linked on each profile, on the dates shown. An Evidence Score measures how much a buyer can check about a firm. It isn't a rating of the quality of a firm's work, a recommendation to hire anyone, or financial, tax or legal advice. Facts change between our checks, so confirm anything important with the firm, and with the state board or registry, before you rely on it.

Firm information

Firm details come from each firm's own website, public government records and public directories. Self-reported items are labelled as such. We don't guarantee that a firm's own statements are accurate, and a listing isn't an endorsement. Firm names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Claims and corrections

When you submit a claim or a correction, you confirm that what you send is accurate and that you're entitled to send it. You agree that we can review it, keep it on record and use it to update a listing. We decide what's published based on the evidence, and we may decline a submission we can't verify. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share.

Using the site

You may read, link to and quote short parts of the site with a link back. Don't copy the lists or evidence in bulk, scrape the site at a rate that disrupts it, or present our scores as your own. We may change the site, the methodology or these terms, and the methodology page shows the version in use.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Pleiades Consultancy isn't liable for decisions made using it, or for the acts of any firm listed on it.
